It seemed to me like karma for all the multiple emails people made just to vote. And that even w/ all that he still lost. The best partnership award seem like such a clinch that I was not surprised but I was really glad Alan won because I genuinely thought he was better than ES and his domestic abuse storyline was better as well.
There was a lot of competition for best actor and I’m with you on the somehow happy he didn’t get it even though i feel quite petty. but… i mean come on, how much would he have smugged himself to death if he’d gotten it? and the thought makes me happy someone else more deserving got it despite the crush voting from scanfans.
